As a result of our continued growth and success, an opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager to join our VIC based team. The role offers much autonomy and variety for a self-driven sales professional who can drive opportunities within the construction and retrofit building sectors.
This role requires an individual with a strong commercial mindset and experience in a technical environment who will develop a sales pipeline that will ensure that sales targets can be consistently achieved.
To be successful in the role you will need:
-experience in the commercial construction sector (tier 1-2 builder market) and retrofit market, selling systems and solutions to meet your client’s needs.
-experience in reading and interpreting architectural plans drawings and using computer-aided design and drafting technology (preferabley Autocad)
-the desire and motivation to work autonomously and be accountable for your own business results while also contributing to the broader organisational goals
-a strong customer service ethic where your actions directly improve the quality of service and delivery of outcomes by fostering positive relationships across the RIS group and with our valued clients.
-to develop a high-level knowledge of the Height Safety and Falls protection sector through building strong networks and representing your organisation and its brand at various industry events.
